Why Not Have Hydration and Exfoliation All in One Treatment?

May 15, 2020

What happens when you merge invigorating spa skin therapies with advanced medical technology? You get the HydraFacial MD®. Since coming on the aesthetic scene in 2015, the HydraFacial MD has become the talk of the industry. Celebrities swear by these super-facials, and so do our clients from Charlotte and the surrounding areas.

At Providence Plastic Surgery, May is Mom’s Morning Out and our Latin Ladies Night Out, and we’ll be offering specials on our HydraFacials. What’s not to love about that? In just 30 minutes you’ll get exfoliation, a light peel, extraction, and hydration.

What is HydraFacial MD®?

The HydraFacial MD® treatment is a four-step process that cleanses, evenly exfoliates, and extracts impurities and dead skin cells while at the same time replenishing vital nutrients including antioxidants, peptides, and hyaluronic acid. The treatment is delivered through the HydraFacial MD proprietary wand.

  • Step 1 — Vortex-Exfoliation

We attach the first head that uses Activ-4 serum and suction to remove surface dead skin cells and open and clear pores. This uncovers the brighter, healthier skin beneath.

  • Step 2 — Vortex-Peel

In step 2, through the wand we apply Glysal serum, which consists of a mixture of glycolic and salicylic acids, the ingredients used for light peels. But this peel won’t have the usual post-peel scaling.

  • Step 3 — Vortex-Extraction

In step 3, the wand applies patented, painless vortex-suction that cleans out pores with the help of Beta-HD serum.

  • Step 4 — Vortex-Fusion

To your thoroughly cleaned and exfoliated skin, in step 4 we apply the Antiox+ serum through the wand. This serum is the final step of the HydraFacial and replenishes your skin with antioxidants, peptides, and hyaluronic acid.

Results

The reason HydraFacial MD® has turned out to be so popular is that it delivers results you can see and feel. This treatment delivers vastly improved hydration, while helping to eliminate the appearance of fine lines, hyperpigmentation, oil and congestion, and even creases in the nasolabial folds.
