This 29-year-old woman had her CoolSculpting of the abdomen and then, unfortunately, developed PAH or proximal adipose hyperplasia.  While very rare, it is extremely deforming when it does occur and requires aggressive intervention, typically in the form of liposuction. VASER-assisted liposuction is the ideal technology because it gently disrupts scarred fat planes and maximizes extraction.  In the past, more than one round of liposuction was required.  With VASER on board at Providence Plastic Surgery, a single-stage procedure is now possible. The patient had 360 liposuction six months post-op in the after images.
