There isn’t a single person out there who will be sad when they take the 2020 calendar off the wall. It doesn’t deserve recycling; it deserves to be burned. We’re all looking forward to the New Year and an end to two things: this stubborn virus and the endless blather of the election.

At Providence Plastic Surgery, we want to move on, but we don’t want to forget our Top Patients of the Year, either. For those of you who’ve braved the virus to still come see us, we’re incredibly grateful. We’ve put in place all sorts of extra cleaning and distancing protocols to keep you safe when coming into our beautiful offices on Golf Links Drive.

To say “thanks,” get ready for our VIP Cocktail Party for our Top Patients. We’ll give you the details to come, and we’ll be sure the setting is safe, yet fun, for you all.

If you’re reading this blog on December 15 or after, we already had our “’Tis the Season” Gifting Pop-Up. But that doesn’t mean everyone on your list is covered. After all, what friend of yours wouldn’t be happy to push the clock back a few years with their holiday gift?

Here are a few ideas…

Most people probably aren’t going to give their friend a tummy tuck or breast augmentation with Dr. Gear, but there are plenty of other great gift ideas.

  • Laser hair removal — Everyone has unwanted hair somewhere on their body. Giving a friend a laser hair removal session is a great way to get them started on doing something about it.
  • Spider vein removal — If your friends are over 45, odds are they have a few squiggly purple and blue lines coursing about on their thighs, calves, and ankles. Spider veins. Ugh. You can give the person a laser vein removal session to show the spiders who’s the boss.
  • HydraFacial — This combination of exfoliation/facial/peel/infusion has taken the aesthetic world by storm, even here in little old Charlotte. The four-step HydraFacial improves the skin dramatically and it feels great at the same time.
  • Microneedling — Microneedling with the SkinPen at Providence is a great way to rejuvenate the facial skin. Microneedling creates hundreds of microscopic punctures across the treatment area. The microscopic punctures heal in just an hour or two, but the skin responds with a wound-healing response, building new skin cells and collagen and elastin for weeks, improving skin texture and tone, and repairing fine lines, wrinkles, and sun damage.

Those are just a few ideas for those hard-to-buy-for friends on your list. Otherwise, they’ll just love a generic gift card to Providence as well. Either way. Give us a call at Providence Plastic Surgery & Skin Center, (704) 771-1747, or just stop in and grab a gift card or pay for a treatment for a friend or spouse. And if you’re one of our top patients, stay tuned for details about the VIP Cocktail Party just for you!
